I may be slow, but I haven't seen this magazine listed.  Most of the articles are by girls 8-12, but adults can submit to three areas.

here is the link.

This is actually one of the few places Ive submitted and they did not accept my article but sent me a very nice rejection letter (I dont recall if it was via mail or email) but I have been meaning to send them something else.  Since I did get a rejection notice it encouraged me in that I felt they did atleast read my article and gratiously replied.

Yup...I'm waiting on a fiction sub. to them from December.  Somebody will have to start a Response Times thread on them...if not, I will when I hear back.

Thanks, Cassandra!  I don't know why, but it didn't come up when I searched for it...

I'm still waiting on an October sub.  I was just starting to wonder, I'm glad I saw this thread.  Maybe now that I've 'said' something out loud, I'll hear from them.

It says on their site that they sometimes hold things up to 2 yrs.  :grrr  So it says you should submit elsewhere while waiting.  :hamster

I saw that on their site, but it seems odd, given the fact that they have a theme list.  I subbed to a particular theme, so I would hope that they would be able to arrive at a decision much sooner than that.

That must be new on their site. When I submitted a previous story (about a year in a half ago), I got an e-mail saying they were considering it, but could hold it up to two years. The story wasn't accepted in the end, but the first response to me was much faster than this time.

Does anyone know what New Moon Magazine pays, and if they require all rights?  There's no mention of payment on the web site, or at least that I can find.
