SCBWI's Blueboard - A Message & Chat Board

I'm spotlighted on Illustrator Saturday

Discussion started on

I explain my illustration process on our NJ Chapter RA's blog today:

(I don't do too much solo watercolor anymore, but you can see some of it anyway, which I ultimately may adjust to collage/mixed media for my dummies.)

And you can see a photo of me in my cozy old studio attic. :)

I read your feature- so cool! Love the cozt study and who wouldn't love Chagall- also my favorite artist- for his story telling and the fact he is not so conerned with perspective- when I cant get something quite right- I tell myself he wouldn't worry about it- the man had tables going into walls!
Also a collage artist- I loved the detail of your processs- have not done a whlole dummy yet- good point- you better have all your paper- ( I use fabric) stashed for the whole project.
Thanks for sharing-
Love the kiddos in the city- illustration.

Kathy has a wonderful blog, and I really enjoy connecting the illustrator with the art.
