Oh, my side hurts!! LOL! Funny, funny post, Lynne!!!!!!

I got home from London last night and was only able to stomach the plays. I fell asleep for the rest. Looks like I didn't miss anything! But I loved seeing Margery and the books! That's the only part. After that show, I no longer had any respect for Dionne Warwick or Star What's-Her-Mouth.

Thanks for the morning laugh, Lynne. That was hilarious! I'm going to be chucking over those PB ideas all day.

(Edited to add: CHUCKLING! I'll be chuckling not chucking all day. Eww.)

I watch The Apprentice but found this one particulary hard to watch. (Gee, I wonder why!) Let's face it, the books were awful. If Dionne and Starr wanted to put their names on that mess, then by all means, take the credit....please!

My computer and I have both been suffering from viruses, so I missed this whole thing. Darn! Its the sort of painful thing I probably would have enjoyed. (I'm not sure what that says about me.) Anyway, I have enjoyed all your comments and Lynne's blog. This doesn't sound like a group that is particularly clued into children, but I liked the idea of a deaf child teaching a lion to roar.

Aren't we trying to dissect something that really wasn't meant to be dissected, at least by writers? After all, like all tv shows, isn't the purpose of Celebrity Apprentice to draw in as many viewers as possible? To do so doesn't it make sense to start with a way popular subect?  Last week it was children's books. The week before it was making piazza pies. And who knows what tonight will bring. Are we perhaps going a bit overboard by trying to find a deep down meaning behind the way they treated the making of a children's book? Actually, I thought they did more than I thought they would. For instance, they taked and showed font size that's too small for young children. As for the Margery Cuyler bit, I was realy disapointed. She was on screen for but moments, and to me came across disinterested and gave little advice to each team. And she was nowhere to be found when it came to the judging. And while not expounding in the least about why not to rhyme, one team didn't think twice about doing so. And while I don't think they understood what Margery was saying (how could they) I thought they did okay.

I thought the men did a better job than the women on this task.  I actually liked the mens book.

I'm glad Dionne is off the show now.
