I have a character that is being hugged by a lot of adult women and I thought it would be funny to say something about being trapped in a (insert bra name) store... or something to that order.

Now I can think of what I would name, but what names does your daughter come up with? One or two will do,  the first thing she can come up with.

"Oh, mom how embarrassing."

Our daughter is 17, but if it's of any help I just asked her, and she said, "Victoria's Secret, Aerie, generic things at Wal-Mart. Oh, and Maidenform." Then she narrowed her eyes and said, "This is some writing thing, isn't it?"

What would make her think that?  LOL

My daughter is a young 13 and I kind of doubt she'd know the name of a bra store, even Victoria's Secret.  If I named it and asked if she knew what they sold there, she might be able to go "Oh, bras!" after a minute.

So it probably depends on the kid--some are more shopping-oriented than others, and some are more "grown."

Mine would probably say "trapped in the bra department at __department store__" or something similar.

My 13 year old thinks of Forever 21 for bras (and most other clothing.) It's definitely the biggest store for girls her age in our area (Southern California.)

Oh Gee, Forever 21, my grand-niece claims on her facebook profile she is a manager of Forever 21, she is 13.  Big head slap.

Without hesitating, my 11yo said Victoria's Secret. Which I find interesting, since I've never taken her there! She also talks about Forever 21 a lot (also another store I refuse to take her shopping at her age).
