Making a Picture Book Dummy

Good Morning! I am submitting my book in dummy form because I am the author and illustrator. I am currently making dummies with WalMart's photo book option through their photo center.  The illustrations come out very colorful and crisp and the dummy has a clean feel. It is expensive, but it saves me a lot of work. It is my first time submitting and I did a lot of research to make sure I was doing it correctly, but I still feel uncertain. Do any of you see a problem with making a dummy this way? Am I missing something?

Please share your thoughts on making dummies. I didn't find another thread like this, but if there is one, could you please give me the link?

jenny, I think most illustrators make digital dummies now. I've never subbed one by snail mail. You can make a digital dummy and put it on a private site online, or make a emailable PDF. You'll find several threads on the illustrator board about making dummies.
