Cobblestone Magazine "Revolutionary Women" theme

Discussion started on

Hello,

An upcoming COBBLESTONE theme is "Revolutionary Women." Do you think that refers to the American Revolution, as it's an American History magazine, or do you think it refers to any women in American history who have done revolutionary things?

What a good question.  (to which I have no answer)  When I read it on their site, I assumed it was women of the Revolutionary  War period, but you may well be right.  Drop them a note?

I'd love to know, too. I have something I wrote on woman that broke gender barriers in several fields, but NOT a woman from the Revolutionary War. . .

I just walked down the hall to Meg's office (she's the COB editor) and asked. She said, "The issue is going to focus on women during the Revolutionary War era."
