Hi,

I'm preparing a submission for Spider Magazine and need the editor's name.
I would appreciate it if anyone can help me verify if the actual editor is Margaret Mincks.
Thanks.  Have a great day.

Margaret Mincks left Spider. I think now you will just be using Submittable, so I don't think you need the editor's name. "Submissions Editor" is probably fine.

Yes, if you don't know the editor's name, "Submissions Editor" IS fine.

Good luck Zoraida! I've been fortunate to be published twice by Spider. I love their magazine.

FYI, I *think* Daniel Resner might be in charge at Spider. His LinkedIn profile says "Associate Editor."

Yes, Daniel Resner ended up working with me on my latest NF article that Margaret had acquired but left before it was published. However, he may not be the poetry submissions editor, so I think it makes sense to use the generic "Submissions Editors" in the Submittable form. Just my two cents.

Thank you all. I used "Submissions Editor" and send it in. I've tried publishing in Ladybug and Cricket and haven't had any "luck" yet. I've been sending out plenty of poetry this last two months, children's and adults. As of yet, I've received few rejections. There's still hope. https://www.scbwi.org/boards/Smileys/default/soccer.gif
