Hi,

I am on the verge of doing a happy dance here.  :bananadance  I just got an email from Joelle Dujardin at Highlights.  She likes my revisions and is recommending the story for purchase.  I should hear definitively in a few weeks.  She asked for an electronic copy of the story though, and I am just wondering what format that should be.  Should I just copy and paste it into the body of an email (which I think looks messy)?  Or should I attach a Word document to the email (neat and clean, but I know some editors won't open attachments)?  Does anyone know what the standard operating procedure at Highlights is?

Thanks!
Stephanie

Congratulations!!!!  :broccoli
I would actually send the document as a Word attachment with a simple message stating that if she prefers otherwise to just let you know.

Be sure to let us know which issue so we can check it out.

I sent it as a Word document today and she replied with a thank you, so apparently it was fine.
