Farwalker's Quest

Discussion started on

I just finished Joni Sensel's Farwalker's Quest.

I was surprised to find no thread here on the book. I loved it.

I especially loved the fact that Joni created a very realistic adventure -- most fantasy adventures these days make me cringe at least once when they make glaring weapons, animal, or survival mistakes.  Joni made none.

This book deserves more buzz than it has been getting.  So—

Let's buzz it, peeps.

Have you read it?  If not why not? :)

If so, what did you think?

I read Farwalker's Quest quite a few months ago now, and it still stays with me. I think it's the wonderful detail of the journey that won my heart:  it really feels real, every step of the way.

I'm glad you started this thread, Auntybooks!  This is a book that deserves to be read!

Joni--I wanted to tell you I just tried to recommend THE FARWALKER'S QUEST and THE TIMEKEEPER'S MOON to a voracious reader here at my library.  She said "Oh, I already read those books.  I LOVED them so much!  I hope she writes a sequel!"
