My apologies if I am posting this in the wrong place or if it has been asked a billion times before. I received a private message from a member but am unable to reply to it or to visit her profile.......am I doing something wrong? or is it because I am new? Thanks in advance for your help xx

Hi Claire,

The short answer is that new members don't have pm privileges, due to past problems Verla's had with spammers.  After new members have been around for a while and posted at least 50 "quality" messages, then they can get an upgrade in membership and gain them.  Here's a couple of threads on the topic that might be helpful:

In the meantime, post a reply to the person asking if they will please send you another PM and include their return email so you can reply. Be sure to put their name on the message, and you might ask if someone else would please let them know you are trying to respond to their PM. I'm sure at least one of the established people on this board would be happy to send that person a message letting them know you are trying to reach them.
