Wilmington theatre looking for short plays for kids

Discussion started on

I found this posting on the En Avant boards and thought it might be of interest here:

The Chrysalis Players of the Wilmington Drama League, a non-profit community theater in Delaware, seek 40 – 55 minute scripts for their ongoing series of “Pillow Plays,” short plays for kids.
The ideal script will be family-friendly with a large (12 or more) cast – the actors will all be 18 and under, but adult roles are okay. Fairytale adaptations are always welcome, but not necessary – we’d love to see original stories as well. Accepted plays will be produced at the Wilmington Drama League in our lobby and at local libraries and organizations. A $50 stipend will go to the playwright. We especially love comedies and adventures that appeal to children and adults.
We are accepting plays until June 30, 2010. The season of Pillow Plays runs from October – May.
Please send pdf or Word documents to Subject: “Pillow Play Submission.” Please be sure to include your name and contact information on the title page.
