Great books, Lil Indigo. I'd like to add any of the books by Linda Joy Singleton. Her Strange series is geared toward middlegrade kids and her Seer series and Dead Girl series are both aimed at Young Adults. ALL of them are really GOOD stories! (And Linda also loves, loves, loves the Nancy Drew books. She has a complete collection of them at her house, along with many other girl series books.  :grin2:)

Great list! Some of those are my favorites, plus you have a few titles that are new to me--I'll have to check them out.

Recent reads I've really enjoyed are Elise Broach's novels, SHAKESPEARE'S SECRET (a mystery about a hidden diamond) and MASTERPIECE (about a beetle who discovers he's a talented artist when he uses a boy's pen and ink set, he befriends the boy and the boy pretends he's the one creating the fantastic art which ends up getting the two mixed up in a major art theft).

Ally Carter is doing a book tour soon. One of her stops is in my area so I'm hoping to go to her reading.
