I recently attended a picture book workshop at SCBWI Florida. Literary agent, Rubin Pfeffer, spoke about evaluating picture book submissions. Check out my blog at http://shannonhitchcockwriter.blogspot.com

Thanks for the tweet!

Erin Murphy also metioned your picture books and how wonderful they are over dinner. (Not a private dinner several writers were present)

So off-topic but where did you have dinner with Erin? Same conference? I'm jealous.

Yes. This is all true and important, and thank you for the re-iteration. :)

I feel that number 'four' is the one thing that will set the writer and/or writer/illustrator apart and make his/her book live.... once he/she find the publisher who "gets" him/her.

Yes, Erin Murphy had dinner on Thursday night before the conference started on Friday with some members of SCBWI Florida.

Thanks. The thing that really fascinated me was the "app" for A PRESENT FOR MILO. Mr. Pfeffer opened my eyes that an electronic version can be a writer's best friend.
