You know how you can type an em-dash by pressing ctrl, alt, and the minus sign on the number keypad (way off to the right) in Word?

Well, when you do that on a message board like this, or on your blog, because of course you think you're in Word and you're not, the result is a reduction in font size that I can't figure out how to fix. I've Googled this. Closing the site and coming back doesn't help. Rebooting doesn't help. It's like I've "saved this change" and can't figure out how to reverse it.

So now, for me, Verla's ENTIRE SITE is in a smaller font than it was, and that I'd prefer.

Anyone know how I can undo this?

Thanks!

Yep! Control and the minus sign makes it smaller. Control and the plus sign makes it bigger.

One of those things that prolly seems so obvious once you hear it ...

Btw, my 'obvious' comment - because I remember smacking myself in the head and saying "OH!" when someone told me. heh heh

Let me try this...

Oh, hey, the second try DID work. Thanks!

It worked when I held down control ONLY and the plus sign. I'd been trying it with alt included, since alt, ctrl, minus gave me the problem in the first place. When alt, ctrl, plus didn't fix it, I was lost. :) AND scared to press anything else!  :ahh

Now to fix it in my blog comments... :bunnyrun
