SCBWI's Blueboard - A Message & Chat Board

A Need So Beautiful by Suzanne Young

Discussion started on

Any other blue boarders reading this? It's a beautiful book. (And the cover is beautiful too, it's worth picking up just for that). I don't really do in depth reviews, and Suzanne is a good friend of mine so I'm far from impartial, but I'd love to discuss with other people who have read it, see if you liked it as much as I did!

I just finished reading it for the second time. Loved it--everything about it feels so fresh and different. Loved the romance and Charlotte's best friend. And the voice is so smooth and compulsively readable. It reminds me a bit of Meg Cabot. Not the voice itself, but how effortless and natural it seems.

The end killed me. I want the next book ASAP!
