I don't rave about a lot of books, but I wanted to encourage anyone who hasn't already (I'm always way behind) to read our own Jenny Moss' TAKING OFF. I was originally interested in it because of the space shuttle angle, and that part of the story is really fascinating and emotional and bittersweet. But the book is much more, full of wonderful character development and not-your-usual-YA romance and lovely insights about life and loved ones and dreams.
Highly recommended! And thanks, Jenny!! Kudos.
(And mods, if there's already a Book Talk thread for this book, feel free to move this, but I searched and didn't find one.)
