Well I did sleep.  Four hours of sleep.  Sleep studies are designed for early birds.  Go to bed and fall asleep by 10 or 10:30.  I even ran errands and did things in hopes that it would tire me out.  Unfortunately, we keep having thunder storms (more predicted for today), so doing much outside, like walking was out of the question.  Dog hates thunder.

Guess it wasn't enough as I just lied in bed with my eyes closed going you are going to sleep.  Doesn't work.  Must have fallen asleep around my normal time.

I have no idea what the results are of course as the person doing the test is just a tech.  (I was going to take a picture of me all wired up, but she was on a mission and didn't seem to have much of a since of humor).  I looked like a mad scientist's experiment.  Wires stuck all over my head.  bwahaahaa.
6r if I have to wait until a month for the neurologists  appt.  But the study is complete.  I am on my way.

I did notice that there are few people about at dawn o'thiry and that birds are to darn chirpy.   :lol4

I like the soft hoot of an owl and the quiet of the night.

It's not early any more but Anne, I had to tell you I'm SO glad that's over! Maybe just having it behind you will help you sleep better for a few nights.

Well, it's already 7:00, but it's the earliest I've started writing in a long time. Happy fourth of July!  :fireworks

Liz, I'm glad your sleep study is behind you. I hope things get sorted out soon.

Good morning, Anne!

Hi, JFriday! Don't want you to feel you're alone here. I typically don't post on weekends/holidays. I did get some work in on the past two days, though, and hope to get through another chapter today.

Happy Monday, everyone! Anne, I hope you got through your chapter. I've been reading a book on conflict and suspense and it's filled me up with ideas. :writing3

7 AM Central. I was up at 5:30 but... it didn't take. Felt good to sleep in on a rainy day. Another chapter started; this one might not need as much reworking as the previous one did. Still a long way to go, though.

Good morning JFriday, hope you have a productive writing day with all your new ideas.
Good morning Anne, yeah to hearing you are starting a new chapter.

6:10am PST, I did lay in bed thinking about how to do another rewrite the PB story in a different format. Dang beginnings always so tricky.

oops. Forgot to check in here. Slept until 6:12 so I wasn't an "early riser" by my definition! Couple of hours yesterday, approaching 2 hours today.

Yeah, Anne slept!! Hi, Darshana!

I got a couple of hours in this morning (summertime for me is writing time - I work in a school during the academic year) and then more time this afternoon - and I finally got a chunk of my MG written. Almost 3.5K today and still writing.

I've been up for an hour, done Morning Pages (mostly about whether to switch to Time Warner cable internet and get almost 3 x the speed for the same price as AT&T is insisting on). Grr. Detest dealing with AT&T.

6:50 AM. Good morning! I've been up for an hour but all I've accomplished is making tea, doing Morning Pages, slicing half a lemon for the pitcher of water we keep in the refrigerator, and moving my car. Seems like 25 minutes of work, not 50. Where did the other half hour go?

AnneB, it's okay to get a slow start, afterall it's Friday.
I'm not looking forward to my revising my PB. I'm at a point where I have to make decisions about what to keep/add all within the scope/tone of the story. Huh, not sure how to make these decisions. Maybe its time to send to my critique group. Decisions, Decisions.

It's the first time in a long that I've been up and writing before 6 a.m. and I forgot to check in! I hope to get somewhat back on schedule this week. I probably won't be writing much before 7:30 until school starts because we stay up too late. But if I manage to get working before 8, I'll call it early.

Looks like Vonna was the only one up early over the weekend. And before 8 in the summer sounds good to me. Happy Monday! I hope everyone has a productive week.

Happy Monday from me, too. Some progress Friday, none at all Saturday or Sunday because of family things. Planning on a couple of hours this afternoon. Morning works better but I have a some (modestly) paying work to do.
