I'm here. But doing very little writing today. Need to do a little Christmas before my family starts arriving home tomorrow.

:coffee3: *raises hand* A bit late this AM, but I plan to get a lot done today on pbs -- heavy emphasis on "plan"! Have fun with the family, Jean!
Happy writing, everyone!

Good morning! Getting harder to be here early with everything going on for the holidays. I hope the rest of you are being more productive than me!

Need more  :coffee3: then I'll squeeze in some writing. Have a wonderful day, all!

Had a critique session last night. Do I dare do a little revising this morning? Hmmmm. Or tackle the mountain of other stuff on my desk? Or just drink coffee and look at the tree?

The coffee's already completely consumed. One more day with a school full of wild things, then a blissful week and a half off. Can't wait!

A few more minutes of writing time before I have to leave...

Happy writing, all!

Ack! It's not early AT ALL, but I wanted to see if anyone is still plugging away in the wee hours. I just waved goodbye to my son who is driving in the pouring rain from PA to VA to get back for his last semester at college. At least it isn't ice.

I'm spending the next few hours working on a revision. I hope everyone had a lovely holiday and is back to writing again!

I'm also a bit of a night owl, when left to my own devices. I'm a little torn about whether to join though. I'm going by an outline at the moment will keep me on task, though I still worry how distract-able I might be. (That's the primary reason I've found, that I can't do longer work.) But local Night Owl here.

Edit: Yea I'm pretty much going to have to make it a night time writing thing.

I ended up actually disabling the internet between midnight to early morning, so this is going to substantially improve my productivity since I'm a night owl anyway. I'm more than half way through my novelette.

Good morning, all! Hope everyone, early or not, has a marvelous spot of writing time today.
#494 - January 23, 2014, 03:09 AM

The intention is there as are the ideas but since I got drenched on the way to the shop I might just need to take a break for the day. Spock makes it nigh on impossible to use anything unless he has commandeered it. He's sprawled across my hands as I type. Not ideal.
If I can escape I will write, if not I will allow him to watch me make chocs.
Hope you're dry and working better than me!

Good morning! Here with my cuppa joe :coffee3: .  Actually overslept by one hour,,,my husband was snoring like crazy last night. Teen daughter awakened me frantic.  Had her first nosebleed. Poor old thing! The air is so dang dry (might explain the hub's snoring also). Hope to get 1 1/2 hours work before I have to hit the road. Need more java.

Nobody's starting early anymore! I think it's the winter doldrums. Maybe now that it's mid-March we can try again! :clover

Oh mercy! Am I the first one here today?
Good morning all. Have been up for a while. Looking at a novel chapter and wondering if my eyes are fresh enough to revise.
Have a good day, everyone!

Yes, Jean, you are! I need both coffee and mercy as I contemplate a picture book and struggle with raising stakes on a few others.  It's been a looooong time since I've been writing this early in the day.
Have fun with the novel chapter and good morning and happy writing to all our fellow-toilers!

I salute you all with my morning joe!   :coffee3:
Sitting here revising with a stiff neck. A lady in a big honker of a vehicle hit my wee little Honda from behind at a stoplight. No bad damage except for my neck. I had to use my mommy voice and tell the woman to lower her tone. She was irate....probably more at herself...for she was in the wrong....and using her cellphone. Texas needs to pass some laws, man!  Enough of my grumbling...to the keyboard!

Your mommy voice - love it, scribble! Hope your neck is better.

I'm here, blundering a bit as it's Monday, but coffee's doing it's job and I'm ready to do a bit of thinking/writing before heading off to work. Morning, everyone!

My neck is better!  (1 steroid shot and a pack of pills later.)

Finished the final edit of my novel. It is resting as I type. Pardon me. It's whining for me to make more edits.

"Ahh...good little book, sleep well. I'll read you in one month. I promise."

Yeah!  Booting up another story line to brainstorm. I've got 45 minutes of writing time left, and I need 1 cup of  :coffee3:
