Melissa, ugh. Are you actually on a trial, or just waiting around to see if you get called? I haven't been on jury duty for years (I've just tempted fate now, haven't I) but I remember there being a whole lot of dead time that I tried to use for writing. The atmosphere was so uncomfortable, though, that it was hard to focus.
I have been really good about getting up early this week--only missed once--but less good about checking in. I'll try to be better about that next week. And I'm going to try to get some writing in this weekend, too, although that's hard to do. My home children are no more likely than my school children to voluntarily leave me alone at the computer for any decent length of time. And it's harder to get myself out of bed in the morning when I'm giving up the possibility of actually sleeping in. My kids are not usually early risers, thank goodness. Glad yours is sleeping a little later, Melissa!
