Anyone writing Early Readers? Anyone want to share some of their favorite, recently published Early Reader books?

I write early readers.  One recent ER (actually, I guess it's an emergent reader) that comes to mind is the Grosset & Dunlap title, Turtle and Snake Go Camping.

Perhaps you're talking about lengthier books?  What are some of your faves?

Thanks, Jody. I'll look it up.

I just read Carole Lexa Schaefer's MONKEY AND ELEPHANT which I adored (short at about 600 words) and Sonya Hartnett's SADIE AND RATZ (1500 words. Both books were three chapters) which was quite different (Sadie and Ratz are the names of the MC's hands).

Yes, I think my suggestion was for a younger audience than the books you mention.  I'll have to check out those titles.
