I have written several creative nonfiction PB's.

Does anyone know of publishers that are looking for these type of stories?

I know Sylvan Dell does(which is one of my dream publishers :)), but how many others are there?

Thanks
Sharon

I think most publishers publish these. Offhand, I know Abrams/Amulet does a lot of them.

I've never been sure where to make the distinction between NF and CNF (there are are titles clearly in one camp or the other, but lots of fuzziness at the border), but Simon & Schuster also does a lot of nonfiction titles with clever/creative treatments.

Here are some publishers whose creative NF I have really enjoyed:
Charlesbridge, Candlewick, Tricycle (it's bought out by someone else), Boyds Mills Press, HMH, Viking, and lots of educational pubs (mostly work-for-hire), etc. ...as Kell says there are lots!
Good luck placing your ms.

Great list from Vijaya! Also: Holiday House, Henry Holt. Tricycle, sadly, was bought AND closed by Random House.
