Do girls still prick pinkies in a blood promise to be BFFS?
Or is this cliche?

We did that, and "spit sisters" too.  In this era of blood born diseases, maybe "spit sisters" is the wiser choice.  Spit on palms, rub together.

Thanks for the advice.
I asked my 10 yo, and she said she'd neither spit or prick pinkies.
Evidently the "pinky swear" is the latest in BFF bonding!
