And aw geez, thanks to AnneB, J-Bert, and AnneN for the shoutout! People mentioning my book on the blueboards is a genuine, I've-also-been-waiting-years-for-this-to-happen thrill. :)

I'm looking forward to your book too, Mike. I have it on order, actually. It sounds like it's right up my alley.

J.Ro--I'm glad you mentioned THE MADMAN'S DAUGHTER. Megan Shepherd is one of my critique partners, and I can tell you for sure that that one is going to be worth it.

Only two more days until my pre-ordered NECROMANCING THE STONE (by Lish McBride) arrives! Really loved the first book, so I'm eager to read this one.

I downloaded a free sample of FALLING KINGDOMS (by Morgan Rhodes) and was so upset to see that I won't be able to read the rest until December. It's got some awesome worldbuilding and lots of court intrigue and all that.

The Echo Room (Tor Teen, 2018)
Where Futures End (Penguin, 2016)
