Typography specialist required for children's book cover

Discussion started on

I'm wrapping up publishing a children's chapter book. I already have a beautiful piece of custom art, and I'd like to some attractive typography to go with it on the cover. It doesn't have to be a custom designed typeface, as long as its application on the cover is appropriate and imaginative.

Does anyone have a suggestion of where I might find someone with flair in this area? Even an amateur enthusiast or gifted student is someone I'd consider.

You might try posting on our Work For Hire board. I believe we have quite a few illustrators with design backgrounds, and also some members who offer cover design for self-publishers. And most likely a few talented dabblers as well. You might get some interest there. Good luck!

Thanks very much for your suggestions, Artemesia. I shall check the Work For Hire board and probably post there soon.

I also sent a message to pj lyons (above) via the email function of the boards. Hopefully that works.
