I'm not sure if I should post this news here or in the published section but I wanted to share news about my graphic novel "The Unemployment Adventures of Aqualung" available now from Arcana Studios. Here's the link: http://www.arcana.com/view_issue.php?id=623

Hope everyone has a great Free Comic Book Day and weekend!

:yay That looks awesome, Alex!! Congratulations!!

Also, it's really interesting to me to see how many people are involved in the art process! Is that typical of most graphic novels?

Thanks everyone!

@ Arte: There are actually typically more people involved if you can believe that  :lmao
I co-wrote (though did not create) this with a friend as well as provided pencils and inks which are typically two separate artists.

That actually makes sense! I've always been awed by the amount of work that goes into a GN. Makes sense that the work is shared.

It really looks fabulous! And the premise is pretty awesome.  :yup

That's a great cover and the premise sounds amazing! Congrats.

As a heads up, not sure if you can do anything about it, the preview on the Arcana site isn't working properly for me. The pages are extremely dark and hard to see. Luckily, I was able to see the first few pages at comixology. It looks good!

How long did it take you guy to complete it?

Thanks Phil!

I don't take care of the publishers website so unfortunately there is nothing I can do to fix that on my end but I'll definitely pass that along. I appreciate the heads up.

My friend and I were hired to write the last 2/3rds of the book (as it was an abandoned project) as well as for me to provide the artwork. I would say with writing and drawing it was about 3 1/2 months from beginning to completion.
