6th Grade Chorus Song

What are some funny/amusing songs a 6th grade chorus might sing?

Something like "Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog," although that's probably way too old  -- 25 years ago my class of 6th graders sang that in chorus .. but I'm not sure the "wine" line would be acceptable anymore.

Anyway, it's fitting into my wip -- the mc is getting dressed to go to her best friend's funeral -- her mother is handing her the black skirt from her choir uniform and it triggers a memory of this song.

I'm not real up on pop culture. It needs to be something that the kids would find funny .. some little word that would make them snicker.

A lot of 5th grade choruses around here sing "We Go Together" from GREASE at their graduations.

Okay, thanks. I'm not familiar with it, but I'll look it up. I think that might fit the context.

Okay, found it on You Tube. I know the song, just didn't recognize the title. Boogedy boogedy boogedy boogedy do wap sho bop is exactly the sort of line I needed.

My daughter did We Go Together, Somewhere Over the Rainbow (which might have a great feel for the theme of your scene), and some winter holiday themed songs. I bet you'll find some choruses singing on You Tube if you Google it.

Liz, yes, I finally looked it up. I'd been avoiding clicking on any of the videos. Debbie, thanks, I'm going with We Go Together. :)
