I'm wondering where to find the information on how many posts one must make before being able to PM and other things.  I have clicked on members names to find information about them and don't seem to be able to do that either.  Is that because of the number of posts as well?  Is there anything else for number of posts we can't do until we reach a certain #??   :secrets

That is why, Carol -- new members who don't have at least 35 posts cannot PM or view member profiles.  We had to do this because of a flurry of spammers who were pestering members a few years back.  I know it can be frustrating while you're waiting, but we've seen it improve the safety and community of the board dramatically.

Ok!  I understand the reasoning....just wasn't even sure what the number was.  Now I know.  35.  Thank you!
