Hi. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a light for my desk. Something not too expensive but better than my regular table lamp. Thanks!

IKEA has good inexpensive (under $10) lamps. I have had one on my desk for years and I husband and I both love it. It's smallish, but completely adjustable and I can turn it on and off from my chair when I need it. If you don't have a store near you, you can order online.

I have a clamp-attached, long-arm lamp from K-Mart. I use a natural light bulb in it. I can point it at where I am working whether it's the drafting table of the computer desk. I can also pull it in very close to use as a spot light when shooting pictures with a camera. The clamp part attaches to the corner of the desk, is virtually unobtrusive and takes up no working space, which is very helpful when I'm working on a large painting on the drafting table.
