In a story, would it be, "She bought from ebay" or "She bought it from eBay"?
 :thankyou

Their logo is "ebay", but on their site they refer to themselves as "eBay" in any text. So I think I'd go with eBay.

You know what, I should have done this before. I looked up using the eBay name and it sounds as if either way I can't use it in book without asking permission. I think I'll just have the girl buying from the internet!

Why can't you use eBay? Authors can use names of companies or products as long as they use them properly. Kleenex, Coke, Brillo, etc

I may have misunderstood their warnings, but decided to not take any chances.  :moose  And now I don't have to worry about how to write it, so that's a plus!
