Is there anyone with expertise in prehistoric topics (fossils, early man, etc.) willing to read and comment on one of my manuscripts? It's a humorous take on a serious subject. But I do want to get the science exactly right.

If you're not such a person, do you know such a person? Thanks!

PM me. I have a friend who specializes in super old bones who is an archeology grad. I can't guarantee she has time, but I'll ask her if you want to send me a brief description of the book, including length. :)

My daughter is starting her final year of her archaeology undergrad & has worked on colonial, neolithic, & Mayan digs.  I'm not sure how much you need or how long the MS is, but if she doesn't know what you need, one of her profs or major-mates might.  Email me (melissa AT melissa-marr DOT com) if that sounds like what you need.

You also might consider contacting any nearby colleges or universities and checking if they have an anthropology department (an anthropologist is the one to consult rather than an archaeologist if you're talking about early man/pre homo sapiens). I'm sure you'd be able to find a professor or research assistant/grad student who would be willing to help.

Thank you SO much! I'll definitely email those of you who said I could. And, Marissa, that's an excellent idea. Don't know why I didn't think of that.

Thanks again.

There's something really wrong with the fact that we can't type h o m o sapiens without being censored.

Seriously, does anyone think anyone on the Blueboards would use the first word as a pejorative?  I don't.

Thanks for that link, Tori!  :thanks2

Anne Marie, I laughed when I saw that usage of the censor.
