I'm working on a storybook app and need to start sourcing music. I have found some great royalty-free websites such as freesound.org and creativecommons.org, which are good for sound effects, but I'd like to hire someone to write an original "jingle" or short musical intro. Any suggestions for where to look? THANKS!

Maybe inquire in the Music Department at a nearby college or university, or one that you have ties with?  I'll bet composition students would be interested in a project like this.

My boyfriend is a music producer, Josie. If you haven't composed your song yet, I'm sure he'd love to help. In case you're interested, send me an email at mercedesortiz101@gmail.com (you can send him an email directly, if you like, at juan.marcelo101@gmail.com, but he doesn't speak English, so I'll end up having to translate your message anyway). :)

Hugs!
