One of my favorites is Twinnies by Eve Bunting but here's a quickie search on Amazon about big sister books.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_22?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=books%20about%20being%20a%20big%20sister&sprefix=books+about+being+a+bi%2Caps%2C203

And a big congratulations on the imminent birth of your new baby!!!

Oh, Vijaya! This is so funny. I just entered this thread in order to recommend TWINNIES! Our oldest child had to put up with the arrival of baby twins, and this book helped us all through it. It would be a fine story for any kid facing the prospect of a new baby, even if the new baby came as a singleton.

We read Baby on the Way to our daughter over ten years ago. I think it still holds up. It explains the situation clearly.

There must be tons of books on this topic. Check the book store and ask your librarian for good ones.

I am a scbwi member who just released a big-sister book about sharing and patience in February.  It may come in handy as your little boy grows and exerts his own will.  It's called She Yelled. I Screamed...She Pulled my Hair and is about two sisters who can't share.  It is illustrated with photographs and available at Amazon, B&B, Ibook Store and my site www.tracyleshay.com  (Kirkus Indie Pick and Pacific Book Award Winner) Best of luck and congrats!
