When an agent requests a synopsis for a PB, how would you set up the query letter? My usual letter is to include the pitch, but with a 500 word PB, there's not much more for the synposis that isn't already in the pitch. Do you exclude the pitch and replace it with the synopsis?

I'd use the pitch for the requested synopsis.

I agree with Stephanie.

That way, it's both the synopsis and the hook in a bite-size chunk. Just as you said, they're really intertwined when it comes to PBs.

The thing is, synopsis usually include the ending. So, you might include the pitch but add the end.

Thank you for all the feedback. I basically did what you mention, Debbie. I adjusted my pitch to include the ending.
