Oh, Vijaya! This is so funny. I just entered this thread in order to recommend TWINNIES! Our oldest child had to put up with the arrival of baby twins, and this book helped us all through it. It would be a fine story for any kid facing the prospect of a new baby, even if the new baby came as a singleton.

We read Baby on the Way to our daughter over ten years ago. I think it still holds up. It explains the situation clearly.

There must be tons of books on this topic. Check the book store and ask your librarian for good ones.
