Nice. Love the monotone against your tie and Clayton's. A cleverly subtle connection between the two of you.  :applause

I really like it, Ena! Visual appealing, snazzy and uncluttered. One of the best author sites I've seen lately. Did you design it yourself or who was your designer?

Thank you so much. You are all so nice!!

C.K., my web designer was Jenny at Websy Daisy. I bought and sent the backgrounds, sent her the photos, and everything else I wanted/needed, and shared the way I wanted it to look, and then she put it together. She was responsible for the great details like the icons turning pink when pressed, etc.

I've been stressed about getting this done for about a year now, and now that it's a reality, I'm relieved and quite pleased with the way it's turned out. I didn't want a high maintenance site, so didn't want a ton of details to deal with, but also wanted to be able to update the "news" as needed. Anyway, it's exactly the sort of website I wanted - looks and maintenance-wise.

Thank you all, again, for your nice comments about it!  :grouphug2

I will take credit for those selections! Thanks!  :grin3 :embarrassed2

And I'll also say there are an awful lot of things you have to pull together and coordinate before the web designer gets started. Not having gone through this before it was a big education. BUT, I'm so glad I didn't have to go under the hood and hook all the wires.

I do have directions so that I can make minor changes myself, and of course I'll be updating the NEWS portion. When it comes to adding the next book, I'll call on Jenny!
