What kind of a job/career would a single mother have that would take her all over the world?

We have a friend who's a top executive in an international agribusiness firm and flies all over the world. (Last college hockey season she flew from India to see her son play in Michigan--then flew back. To India. But they live in the Midwest.)

She's married, but I don't think that really affects her job.

Thanks Dew! I'm worried about making it sound authentic since I have no idea what a agribusiness person does.    :embarassed

Doctors without Borders is another possibility. Or any kind of consultant, really. Any special skill can be in demand all over the world, from a specialized research field to business training to sports coaching.

I know someone who works for FEMA. She's travels all over the country to help evaluate different emergencies that occur - floods, hurricanes, fires, etc.
