Adios, adjectives

I was going along and the writing felt unusually strong, so I stopped and looked at it.

I had written the last 131 words of narrative without an adjective.

And that's where I've stopped for a bit. A small victory to savor.

Those must be some mighty verbs and nouns, not to mention prepositions and conjunctions!

Well, I used "little" in the sense of "little did I know," which makes it a direct object, which has to be a noun or pronoun, I think. (?)
