I live in Puerto Rico. It's part of United States, but Spanish is our first language. I write in Spanish and English. I've written two novels in Spanish.
I would appreciate any information related to publishers of Spanish books. One is a fantasy novel for 9 to 12. The other book is a chapter book. It's fantasy, too.

Have a lovely day.

I believe several major publishers in the USA have Spanish language imprints. For example, Scholastic has Scholastic En Espanol. I think it's a mix of translated, bilingual, and Spanish titles. Penguin has Celebra. HarperCollins has Rayo.

This article is about 3 years old but it does mention several Spanish language publishers by name.  http://www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/new-titles/adult-announcements/article/53775-dealing-with-change-spanish-publishers-in-the-u-s-2012.html#path/pw/by-topic/new-titles/adult-announcements/article/53775-dealing-with-change-spanish-publishers-in-the-u-s-2012.html

I hope that helps a little! I live in Canada so am probably not as knowledgeable as others about this.

I've also seen bi-lingual PBs and CBs but can't remember off the top of my head who the publishers were. My kids are teenagers now, so it's been a while.

A quick Google search brought this up: http://nicholasmeier.com/links-to-education-web-resources/multicultural-and-bilingual-book-publishers/
and an interesting article in PW http://www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/new-titles/adult-announcements/article/53775-dealing-with-change-spanish-publishers-in-the-u-s-2012.html

Good luck, Vijaya

Thank you, Artemesia and Vijaya. I will look into those articles. At the dentist's office there's plenty of time.😁 I've submitted some of my work to local competitions. Time will tell. Again, thank you.
