I haven't noticed Kik mentioned here yet. Is anyone actively on it?

More or less it's the new 'it' thing for the 13-24 year-olds and supposedly one of two apps rumoured to dethrone Facebook over the next two years (the other being WeChat -- from China)

I haven't seen it or heard of it till now. But, honestly, speaking for myself, I'd leave something to the kids. As soon as adults take over, the kids move on. Can we blame them?

An exception, of course, might be for YA authors whose readers "expect" to find them on there. Writers for the demographic may not be viewed as "adults" in quite the same way.

I am not on it, but my 13yo daughter is. I'm not sure I'm ready to add *another* app to my already too-full social media activity!  :lol4
