I'm looking for book recommendations for a third grade history buff who devoured the "I Survived" series and especially enjoys stories about disasters or wrecks. Not a fantasy fan. Any suggestions?

My son loved the Titanic books by Gordon Korman. Unsinkable, Collision Course, and S.O.S.

Hi Jenn,
When I get this question at my library, I usually recommend Gordon Korman's TITANIC, KIDNAPPED, EVEREST and other survival trilogies:

There's also the STAY ALIVE series by Joseph Monninger (which I haven't read).

Gary Paulsen's TUCKET'S TRAVELS series and John Flanagan's RANGER'S APPRENTICE and BROTHERBAND series are good, but maybe more appropriate for fifth grade and up.
