I've written a holiday story. A Christmas story to be exact. Yes it's about Santa. And it rhymes.  Dreadful, I know. But the rhyme & meter are good and the story is unique. I believe in it and it has been through many many critiques and countless revisions. I wrote it because once I started I couldn't stop. And yes, I dream of publication.

I thought the best bet for publication is likely a bigger publishing house so am submitting to agents. I've been focusing on agents who rep author/illustrators. Any suggestions for agents who might work with a holiday book? Or publishers open to unagented submissions if I go that route in the future?

Pretty much everyone is open to holiday books.

among others

I agree with Anne Marie.

If you're a scbwi member, you get a list of publishers. You can also check out the book, Children's Writers and Illustrators Market 2016. Might even find it at the library.

I would also have at least 1-2 more polished PB mss if you are querying agents. Good luck!
