Can anyone think of a picture book with a provocative title? Something that means one thing to adults (nothing over the top/inappropriate), but is used in an innocent way in the picture book? I've tried googling but I'm coming up with mostly high-concept titles...not necessarily titles with a double meaning...and I'm drawing a blank, but I'm sure there must be some?

Maybe not exactly what you are after, but to start the ball rolling I'll suggest
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU'RE EXPECTING LARVAE because it reminds adults of the pregnancy book, but needn't do so with young readers. (It is one of a series about animal biology.)

This IS hard. What came to mind for me was Lane Smith's IT'S A BOOK. The title isn't provocative, but the whole thing seems aimed more at the adults than the kids.

Some titles that adults might think funny before young kids would:
Snappsy the Alligator (Did Not Ask to be in the Book) by Julie Falatko
Wolfie the Bunny by Ame Dyckman
Red: A Crayon's Story by Michael Hall
Interstellar Cinderella by Deborah Underwood

Play on words titles:
Duck, Duck, Dinosaur by Kallie George
Outstanding in the Rain by Frank Viva
Mother Bruce by Ryan T. Higgins
The Sleepless Knight by Ashley Halil
Fright Club by Ethan Long

LGBTQ theme: Worm Loves Worm by J.J. Austrian

Skim through picture book titles on Goodreads.
