Fellow writers in UK,

I have some basic questions about online archives in England which hold records pertaining to India. Is there something equivalent to Library of Congress https://www.loc.gov/ or National library http://www.archives.gov/ I am looking for primary sources to verify information for some of my books. I was told that I could perhaps find them online or have a way to request pdf copies. Any suggestions or advice will be most appreciated and much helpful for me. You can also PM me with leads or questions.

I did find this site http://www.bl.uk/reshelp/bldept/apac/apacoll/apac.html for British library and http://www.bl.uk/reshelp/findhelpregion/asia/india/westlangcoll/index.html for India Office library. Are there other resources?

Thank you all for your help, time, and consideration.
Sincerely,

Rani
