Aaaaand now I've found the right spot for this.

I'll be doing a reading/signing of my picture book, Whose Story Is This, Anyway? on Sunday, June 26th at the Books-A-Million bookstore in Southfield, Michigan. 1PM. This is my first event ever, so I'm a little nervous. Any blueboarders that feel like stopping by would be a welcome addition (maybe with tips for the next event, ha ha!)

Have a wonderful time!! And it isn't as scary as you think. I thought it would be last year but was surprised by how fun it was.

A piece of advice... If you mess up in the reading, don't get worked up just roll with. We are all human. Yep. This happened to me TWICE. :)

Well, the event went great! My reading wasn't too garbled, ha ha, we sold a bunch of books, and had a good time overall. It helped that they were having a birthday party right next to my table. I think I got a couple sales simply because the parents had to walk by me to get to the party. And I gave the birthday boy a copy after I read it, so hopefully my dastardly plan worked..."Mommy, he got a signed book, now I want one!"

Thanks for the good vibes!
