SCBWI's Blueboard - A Message & Chat Board

over a million views!

Discussion started on

My blog about children's feelings and friendships for Psychology Today now has over one million views!
www.GrowingFriendshipsBlog.com

I've done 55 posts since I started in August 2011. None of my posts have exploded the internet; they just keep building over time.

Some of my biggest "hits" are:
Imaginary Friends
Helping Children Who Cry Easily
What Are Social Skills
How Children Make Friends
How NOT to Raise a Narcissist

I do rotating announcements about my posts on Twitter and FB, and I have a (more or less) monthly email newsletter with links to new and old posts, for people who have signed up on my website or at one of my speaking gigs.

I'm not an ideal blogger because, although I aim to post monthly, more often than I'd like to admit, I get overwhelmed with other work and end up having to scramble to write several posts at the end of a quarter. However, I do put significant effort into trying to write posts that are interesting, useful, and research based.
