I'm not sure where else to post this, so I'm posting it here.  http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/08/books/anna-dewdney-dies-author-llama-llama-books.html

Very sad, only 50 years old.  She lived in my area.

Anna Dewdney's passing is such a sad loss to the writing world. She was a wonderful author/illustrator and I am sure that Llama Llama will continue being loved for many generations.

I also really like her request of 'In lieu of funeral services that people read to a child instead.' A class act lady for sure. She will be missed.

I was so saddened to read this as well. She was so young.
But I take comfort in all of her books that will live on and on to the delight of many children.
