I have had so much fun reading the books that were suggested for your favorite PB, that I thought I'd start a chime in for  favorite counting books.  I like Zero by Kathryn Otoshi, because it is pretty and it helps to build children's self esteem. Here's a video it being read: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrTkFtg0Pbw

I love Rosemary Wells' First Hundred Days of School

I also discovered the brilliant books of Bruce Goldstone: 100 ways to celebrate 100 days; Ten friends; Estimations.

And last but not least. Some shameless self-promotion: Ten Easter Eggs. I wrote it and the illustrations are darling and kids love playing with it. Little ones are always trying to press the eggs, but they are sturdy. :eastereggs :eastereggs

My two year old has loved COUNTABLOCK since she was four months old. I'm pretty fond of it and its companion ALPHABLOCK.

RACE CAR COUNT by Rebecca Kai Dotlich is a super cute one. (which goes to show I am partial to Race Car books at the moment.  :grin3 )

TOTALLY seconding Vijaya's adorable TEN EASTER EGGS! I bought this for my niece's baby last Easter and she loved it. She even loved the easter eggs so much she tried to eat them.  :goldstar And this coming Easter, I'll have my first grandbaby to give one to! :)

I like 100 is a family by Pam Munoz Ryan a nice story for little ones with good illustrations for the lyrical text.
