SCBWI's Blueboard - A Message & Chat Board

Adult fiction equivalent of the Blue Board

Discussion started on

Hi, friends,

Does anyone know of an online discussion forum analogous to our Blue Board, but for adult fiction or general audience writers? I have some key questions about submitting adult fiction that I need to get answers to, before I submit.

I've been searching for one without success.

Thanks so much. I hope everyone has a wonderful summer.

You could try the Writer's Digest Forum. You may have to join it, as you do here, before you post a question.

Absolute Write is another place where writers of all genres can ask questions.  The tone there is quite different from here, so beware.

I love Absolute Write for any writing that isn't for children and some that is.

Querytracker has (or at least had) a forum, too. People posted about things other than agents.

Good luck, Gatz!  :goodluck

I love, although I haven't spent much time there since I've been focusing on children's books.

I've always gotten helpful answers to my questions at absolute write. Haven't tried the writer's digest forum, but their blog posts are very helpful. They keep old ones on all types of topics where you can scroll through and look at those of interest.
