It happened so suddenly I'm still woozy and pinching myself.
Quite a few years ago I began the book that is now LAST SUMMER IN EDEN, a 1920s historical set in Bethlehem, NH. (three complete rewrites complete with new names).
This latest version garnered a number of full requests so you can imagine the heartbreak when no one would rep it.
I shelved querying for a while and focused on my WFH writing, which is going great. So busy with it. Last week I decided to send out a few queries for EDEN. I was tired of having these completed books just sitting there.
Elizabeth Bewley, new at Sterling Lord and a former YA editor, wanted the full. I sent it. Today I accepted her offer of representation. She loves the book!! (somebody loves it!)

People always say that, keep going someone will love it, the right someone. Well, I guess that's true!!
The blueboards have been invaluable in my writing journey. Thank you so much for your encouragement, hand-holding, and support!
