What are the recommended finished sizes for Childrens' Picture Books?  I am in the process of writing and illustrating my first  :help2 picture book for submission.  I have found contradictory answers about standard and custom dimensions. I would deeply appreciate guiding information.
Thank you all for being there!

Hi Victoria,

If this is going to be a self published book, you might do better to ask in the self publishing section. If not, you aren't submitting a final manuscript with final art. You submit a dummy, with a final manuscript, or as final as you can get it. Hopefully an illustrator will stop by and let you know about sizes soon.

A trim size of 10 inches by 8 inches or 8 inches by 10 inches is probably the most standard.
